Welcome to A Million Little Things!!  "AMLT" as we have become know was in born in 2003, we say born because in reality it became our third child. I am Jill , the owner of AMLT.  What seems like years and years ago I also was a was a passionate scrapbooker, especially passionate about hoarding and collecting supplies.  Since the store opened I don't seem to find the time to scrapbook much because there are always orders to pull, product to enter and store tasks to do.   The only saving grace in that is I still get to look at all the latest fun stuff and dream up days when I will be able to use it again!!

We in many ways owe our start to a few ebay listings, that grew into an ebay store, and eventually became much too much to not have our own online store.  This September marks the 4th anniversiary of our Website debut.  We are excited and especially grateful to our customers throught the world for our growth over the past 4 years.  Sometimes we feel like our basement is exploding but we love this industry and working with each of you!

I am one lucky girl to share my business adventures and dreams with my partner both in business and marriage, Paul.   He is a rare man who still is 100% guy but can support my love of crafty things and sometimes even can spot good new stash on his own.  Paul and I are the only workers at AMLT, in fact we have been a 1 1/2 person show since our very first days.  Paul still has a full-time job as an engineer by day, and chief paper puller and box  packer by night.   I am a full time mom, (aka housecleaner, cook, nurse, teacher and counselor) in addition to handling the bulk of the other store activities throughout the day and very often well into the night.    We still love the small "mom and pop" feeling we have created with our store, even though the hours are very long for both of us.  We have the two most fantastic, handsome, (albeit on occassion slightly  wild and crazy) sons alive, ages 11 and  6.  I can't believe how quickly time has passed as my once babies are gone and I am faced with nearly young men.   Strollers and sippy cups have been all too quickly replaced with homework battles and endless trips to the playing fields, but we wouldn't have it any other way.    As my personal time to scrapbook has disappeared, I quickly became a firm believer that this wonderful hobby is about that very thing, the people we love and documenting those moments no matter how simple the process (my current system includes a Nikon and a notebook!)

Our AMLT Family also includes currently 7 very talented designers who are much more than that to us, they are truly our adopted family and friends.  Many of them have been with us since our very first year!  Without their inspiration monthly I don't think our site would be complete!  Please take some time to look around our site, get to know our designers, peek into our public gallery, and browse our fun store.  We welcome your feedback and your comments as well as your occasional praise.  Thanks for visiting us at AMLT!!
